Activities:Daytona Beach is a town with multiple personalities. The beach that cars drive on is known as the "World's Most Famous Beach." Automobiles first raced on the beach in the early 1900s. Today, Daytona Beach is the favorite destination of race enthusiasts who come to Daytona Beach for the Daytona 500, the Pepsi 400 and many other races held throughout the year. But, the twenty-three miles of white sandy beaches, water sports, biking, world-class golfing, fishing and beachcombing make visitors return over and over again. There is always something exciting going on at Daytona Beach; beauty contests, cheerleading contests, fishing championships, concerts and more. The Daytona Beach pier and boardwalk has restaurants, bars, amusement rides and specialty shops. During the winter months the beach is a peaceful place and offers panoramic beach walks, sunny warm days and mild starry nights. For Spring Break, Daytona belongs to the young and thousands travel here to join in the excitement and fun times, although the northern end of Daytona Beach, where we are located, offers more privacy and serener times. Other Florida attractions such as Walt Disney World, Universal, Sea World, and the Space Coast are just a short drive away.
